history of National Youth Council of Nigeria Imota Local Branch was recorded as they inaugurated fresh Executive to pilot the affairs and yarning of the Youth populace of Imota Local Council Development Area.
The Vice Chairman, Hon. Sunday Benson, who represented the Council Chairman addressed the new Leaders of NYCN in Imota harp on need for them to be united and create and alliance in other to have a successful tenure in office and to make sure they build on the record already by the administration of Comrade Folarin as he wish them a successful tenure.
While Congratulating the new Executive the State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comr. Biliaminu Oba urge them to maintain and improve on the standards of the previous administrations as every constituency is known agitating for the course of their constituency and NYCN should not be found wanting in relating with the present government as NYCN is also establish to compliment the effort of the government.
Adebogun Oriyomi in his acceptance speech appreciate the stakeholders, members and friends who has been supporting the Youth Council since it’s inception. He states his administration will consolidates on 3 major principles; Leadership, Community and Action while promoting education and skills development, innovation, community engagement, entrepreneurship, advocacy and representation.
The august event witness the presence of the executive chairman of Imota LCDA who was represented by Hon. Sunday Benson, The Vice-chairman, Alhaja Akintunde, HoD Agric Department, Comr. Biliaminu Oba, The State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comr. Agbaje Abdul-Hakeem, the State Secretary, Comr. Folarin Awal, the immediate past coordinator of NYCN Imota Local Branch and other esteemed personalities.
Others members of the executives that were inaugurated includes; Tijani Oluwaseye deputy coordinator, Olusesi Ibrahim as Deputy Coordinator, Benson Olusola as Assistant General Secretary, Babatunde Jaiyeola as PRO, Owoyele Luqman as Programme Officer, Akinsanya Yetunde as Auditor, Salaudeen Ayuba as Financial Secretary, Oduyale Gbemileke as Treasurer, Agoro Abd-Salam as Legal Officer and Adams Oluwatosin as Social Secretary.
